CORTOKINO-UNLEASHING GLOBAL CINEMA, IS AN INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL ORGANISED BY THE MASS MEDIA AND FILM, TELEVISION AND NEW MEDIA PRODUCTION DEPARTMENTS OF THAKUR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND COMMERCE. IT WAS INITIATED WITH THE IDEA OF BRINGING TOGETHER ALL THOSE DREAMERS AND ARTISTS WHO BELIEVE IN THE LANGUAGE OF FILMS AT HEART. CORTOKINO HAS BEEN A HUB FOR FILM MAKERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD EVER SINCE IT’S CONCEPTION
WITH THE PASSING OF TIME WE HAVE SEEN SOME AMAZING FILM MAKERS AND DIRECTORS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. WE HAVE RECEIVED ENTRIES FROM OVER THE COUNTRIES AROUND THE GLOBE INCLUDING USA, IRAN, SYRIA, IRAQ, RUSSIA, GERMANY, FRANCE, SPAIN, ITALY AND MANY MORE. A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, A FILM PRESENTED BY UNESCO DIRECTED BY SEYED SAJAD MOOSAVI FLAGGED OFF CORTOKINO 2020. THIS YEAR WE ARE ALL PUMPED UP TO TAKE THE LEGACY FORWARD AND ATTEMPT TO PACIFY OUR INSATIARLE HUNGER FOR CONTENT-DRIVEN MOVIES.
