1. What are Dam Raised Fish?
Dams raised fish grow naturally in healthy, running water of dams and reservoirs. They eat natural plants and organisms and are not fed artificial feed or steroids. Thus they are healthier, safer, and more nutritious to eat.
Definition of Farmed Fish
Farmed fish are raised in man-made ponds or tanks under aquaculture systems. Preferably they are fed with commercial feed and often given antibiotics to prevent diseases in stagnant water which usually stays unchanged for years. This method ensures controlled production with a focus on higher yield.

Farm raised fish will always create protein supply and predictable yield; however, taste and nutrition depend heavily on the quality of feed and prospective treatment. If not managed properly, farmed systems can threaten local ecosystems as a result of their proximity to one another compared with the more eco-friendly balance of dam-raised fish.
