Aakaar is the annual festival of the Civil Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. It was initiated in 2009 by young civil engineers and eminent professors, and since then, it has been nurtured as India’s Largest Civil Engineering festival. We provide an excellent platform for aspiring civil engineers and instigate enthusiastic students to innovate, create, and learn through various events and competitions.
We organize various events which include International Civil Engineering Symposium, Lecture Series, Webinars, Panel Discussions, Workshops on software like STAAD Pro, Revit, ETABS, BIM, and many more.
We also conduct competitions like Industrial design Problems, CiviQ, Poster Presentation, Case Study, Smart Pitch, and many more.
Learn real-life design skills in industrial software, from scratch. These workshops will prepare you to explore a whole new world of technology and design.
Along with these workshops, Aakaar, IIT Bombay also presents Staad-Pro, Fusion360, and Revit Structure competitions with a prize pool of 15,000+ INR for each.
