Lissun Partners With AACCI to Strengthen Early Intervention for Child Mental Health Nationwide
07 November 2025, New Delhi: Lissun, one of India’s leading Child first mental health platforms, today announced a strategic partnership with The Association of Adolescent and Child Care in India (AACCI) to strengthen India’s ecosystem for child and adolescent mental wellness. The collaboration brings together Lissun’s expertise in neuro developmental challenges and digital therapy capabilities with AACCI’s grassroots outreach and life-skills programs to build capacity, enable early detection, and provide structured support for children facing developmental challenges, and their caregivers across schools and communities. The partnership also looks at addressing emotional wellness challenges for teens and adolescents.
The partnership is anchored in a shared mission to equip parents, teachers, and counselors with the right tools, guidance, and frameworks to identify and address developmental and emotional needs early. Lissun and AACCI will jointly execute large-scale screening, counselling, and awareness initiatives across schools and communities, supported by structured referral pathways to Lissun’s digital platforms and Sunshine by Lissun centres. This integrated approach strengthens capacity on the ground while ensuring timely access to affordable behavioural and developmental support. The collaboration represents a critical step toward a scalable “screen-and-intervene model” that advances India’s child-mental-health priorities and empowers families across both urban and underserved regions.
Dr. Krishna Veer Singh, Co-founder and CEO, Lissun, said, "Research shows early intervention is the single biggest factor that defines long term outcomes for children with neuro developmental challenges. Our partnership with AACCI allows us to combine clinical depth with community-based support systems, ensuring families can access high-quality guidance when they need it most. We are committed to making early intervention mainstream and helping India’s young population grow with confidence, resilience, and acceptance.”
AACCI, led by its Board of Directors that includes Mr. Yashwant S. Bhave (Hon. Chairperson) and Dr. Swati Y. Bhave (Hon. Executive Director), has long championed holistic wellness in young people through parental empowerment, teacher engagement, and life-skills education. With a mission rooted in nurturing adolescents and children through the most influential pillars in their lives, AACCI continues to build emotionally supportive and informed communities across India and beyond. Dr Sandeep Kavade – Adolescent expert from Bhosari Pune and AACCI National Parent Forum Incharge is coordinating this project on behalf of AACCI
Dr Swati Bhave, at AACCI, said, “Our vision is to help children achieve resilience and thrive by strengthening the support structures around them. This collaboration enhances access to professional guidance and allows parental and educational ecosystems to play an active role in mental health. We look forward to bringing evidence-driven awareness and emotional support to families across geographies.”
As part of the initiative, awareness and acceptance programs have already begun across key cities. Initial activities include a free workshop for parents of children with special needs in Pune, a digital session on navigating teenage years in Pune, and an acceptance-focused program with leading Pediatricians at the Sunshine by Lissun Centre in Gurgaon. Over the coming months, additional workshops and webinars will roll out across Delhi, Lucknow, and Bengaluru, building an ongoing calendar of parent-centric and educator-centric engagement.
Lissun has already demonstrated a significant nationwide impact on youth mental health. The platform has counselled over one lakh students across 40+ cities through partnerships with leading coaching centres, colleges, and schools. Its dedicated child-development arm, Sunshine by Lissun, has supported over 10,000 children in just two years, with a network of 20 centres across eight cities providing assessments, therapy, and multidisciplinary developmental support. Rapid expansion continues, with the brand on track to cross 50 child-development centres before World Mental Health Day 2026.
